The Transfagarasan Highway is one of Romania’s most popular tourist destinations and a road every driver dreams about.

It’s 150 km long mountain highway with a lot of sharp turns connecting Transsylvania with Muntenia. The highest point of the road is 2134 m and the speed limit is 40 km/h.

The Transfagarasan Highway was featured in BBC’s television show Top Gear in 2009 and named as the greatest driving road in the world. Since then even more tourists have visited the spectacular place and have had the true mountain driving experience.
