Lizzy, a 8 year old Great Dane from Florida, is holding the Guinness World Record for the Tallest living female dog in the world. She is 96.41 cm (37.96 in) tall and reached her extraordinary height by the age of three.

The black and white Great Dane is living a happy life in Fort Myers, Florida and enjoys a lot of attention when she’s out on a walk. The record-breaking canine is so tall that she eats from a bowl that’s put on a chair or on the dinner table.

Her owner Greg Sample says that Lizzy is a very relaxed and modest dog and she loves to ride in the car. As a puppy, Lizzy used to be very clumsy because her paws were too big.

“I think she does realise that she’s queen of the party and she is the tallest,” Greg says during a photo shoot for the new Guinness World Records 2017 book.
